'Heather's Island'

2002

Heather's Island was made for City and Guilds Part I and is 100 inches by 100 inches.

It is made from cotton fabrics and depicts an aerial view of a tropical island.

Appliqued and vermicelli quilting by machine.

 

 
'Calendar Quilt'

2002

The Calendar Quilt is 58 inches by 72.5 inches.

 

'Quilter's Garden'

2002

The Quilter's Garden is 63 inches by 81 inches and is made of Thimbleberries cotton fabric.

 

 

A Quilt is a very personal thing.

I designed 'Heather's Island' for my daughter who wanted a reminder of her time living on small islands in the Far East.
